JUNIOR PARENT/GUARDIAN COLLEGE NIGHT

This presentation will cover the ins and outs of the college application process, including everything from college visits and developing a balanced list to submitting transcripts, test scores, and letters of recommendation.  Students are welcome to attend, although this information is very similar to the information they receive in classroom lessons in early November.

Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at how the admissions process works at a variety of colleges.  Admissions reps will first cover popular topics and then will take questions from the audience.

FINANCIAL AID NIGHT

Financial Aid staff from a Maine college will provide an overview of the financial aid application process including the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the CSS Profile.  The event is designed for juniors but all are welcome to attend.  Students are especially encouraged to attend if they will be applying for financial aid.  The event will conclude with an opportunity for Q&A.   

SENIOR PARENT/GUARDIAN COLLEGE NIGHT

This session is designed for parents who are new to the college planning process and/or who did not attend the junior parent/guardian college night This highly informal session provides an overview of the application process and addresses senior parents’ questions and concerns about all aspects of the college search process, with an emphasis upon Q&A.
