Out of an abundance of caution, our school was closed today. As you learned from recent messages from our District Office and Falmouth Police Department, we received an online threat against our schools this morning. By the afternoon, after an investigation by Falmouth Police and other law enforcement agencies, it was determined the threat to be a hoax and not credible.

This has assuredly been a trying week for our school, our district, and our neighboring schools. I am grateful for the care that we have shown for each other throughout and the bonds that we continue to build as a school community. I look forward to reconnecting with our students, faculty, and families on Monday. Our school counselors will be on hand if students need individual support. Be safe and be well across this weekend and the holidays ahead.

This is a reminder to families of Juniors & Seniors , the next coffee date is Friday, December 2nd at 7:45 am. Please join me and other parents for an informal chat about the academic and social aspects of our school and how we can be working to ensure we are meeting the needs of all our students.

FHS Service Trips are back! Applications are now available for the trip to Safe Passage in Guatemala. Travel dates are Feb 12-18, 2023. Information and applications are available in the Service Learning Office. Applications are due Tues, Nov 22nd to be considered for a spot on this trip. There will also be a service trip focused on rebuilding homes after a natural disaster this spring. The Service Learning Office is finalizing those details and applications will be available soon for that trip as well.
