AP Exam Schedule

Ap exams start on May 5th and end May 16. View the AP Exam Schedule for more details.

AP Testing Registration

AP College Board exams are administered at school in May 2025.  FHS strongly recommends that students take the AP test that aligns with their AP class. Registration closed on November 8, 2024.

The cost of each AP Exam is $99. You may be eligible for a fee waiver that reduces the cost from $99 to $62 per exam. Connect with your counselor to find more information about how to receive this waiver. The deadline to pay is November 8th. Any orders submitted after this deadline or shifts in exam status from ‘yes’ to ‘no’ will result in a $40 no-show fee.

Please note: These fees are set by the CollegeBoard, not FHS.

AP courses provide an opportunity for students to pursue college-level studies, as well as possibly earn college credit and/or advanced academic placement. Falmouth High School’s dedicated AP teachers play a vital role in ensuring that AP courses align with college-level standards, and help students develop and apply the skills, abilities and content knowledge they will need later in college.  Each AP course concludes with a college-level exam - an essential part of the AP experience.

PSAT Information

The PSAT was on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 (B day) at 8 a.m. Registration closed on September 19th, 2024. Day of registration was not allowed.

Students will return to their normal class schedule after the test. This exam is for 10th and 11th grade students only.

Wednesday, October 16th, 2024 is a B day and the PSAT exam will start at 8:00 am. This is a nationally scheduled test date, so there will be no make-up opportunity should a student be absent on that morning. Day of Registration is NOT allowed.

Your student will not be able to take the test if:

  • You have not paid and registered by September 19th on PowerSchool.
  • The laptop does not have the Bluebook app downloaded.
  • They do not have their Bluebook login information.

It is important to remember that the PSAT is a practice test for the SAT.  It is primarily a tool for college planning and the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program when taken in the junior year.
